How to Apply for Funding:

Welcome to Molson’s Online Funding Application. To streamline this process, applying online is now the only way to apply for funding from the Molson Donations Fund, the philanthropic arm of our corporation.

Before you start, please read the Molson Philanthropy Policy and Exclusions sections. This will help you determine whether your organization or project meets our philanthropic criteria.

Molson wants to help make positive changes in our communities; however, the many requests we receive for donations and sponsorships necessitate our being selective in order to be effective with our support. We encourage you to complete the application form carefully in order for it to be thoroughly evaluated.

At Molson, we evaluate each application individually. Our end goal is to ensure all requests are given equal and impartial consideration within a suitable time frame.

Steps to Apply:

The application form is divided into three parts. You will have a MAXIMUM of 30 minutes to complete each page; otherwise, the system will time out. This is why it is important to read through the instructions and have all supporting documents on hand before starting the application process. The system will not allow you to save it and go back in at a later time.
  1. Information about your charity, including organization's name, Mission Statement, and Charitable Registration Number.
  2. Contact information so that we can reach you, including an email address.
  3. A list of the Board of Directors and Advisory Board members (if applicable) that can be attached to this application.
  4. An electronic version of the most recent audited financial statements of your organization.
  5. Description of the current campaign/appeal for which you are requesting funding.
  6. Overall campaign/program funding objectives and where these funds are expected to come from (i.e. breakdown between public and private sector; funds coming from matching campaigns).
  7. Campaign or project/program budget that can be attached to this application.
  8. How Molson funding will be used.
  9. How Molson’s support might be recognized.
  10. How Molson funding will be used.
