Got an idea that will make a difference to the Barrie community?
The Molson Barrie Community Fund can help.

What is it?

The Molson Barrie Community Fund contributes to a wide range of projects and programs that enhance and/or make a difference to the City of Barrie. The Fund's aim is to work with individuals and organizations that wish to provide an improved community environment for everyone to live and grow.

A Board of Review has been established to set policy and guidelines, coordinate the Fund, review and approve donations. Board members are asked to sit for two years.

Who can apply?

Anyone serious about making a difference can apply. You must live, own a business or work in the City of Barrie and have what it takes to pull a group of people together to coordinate and complete a project.

What kind of projects will be funded?

The Molson Barrie Community Fund remains flexible to the changing needs of the City of Barrie.

For 2007, the Molson Barrie Community Fund committee will accept all for applications that will have a significant impact in the City of Barrie for many years to come. These requests must fit the program criteria as set out in the application form.

Local projects that will be considered for funding must be accessible to everyone in the community.

How does it work?

Proposals for projects must be submitted in writing by December 31, 2007. The Board will then announce successful projects in February 2008.
